Call for Papers

Dear Colleague,

You are invited to submit abstracts concerned with any innovations or developments in the area of recruitment into foundation and specialist training programmes in the UK.

                                Guidelines

·        The abstract should not be more than 200 words in length

·        For education innovations and developments use the following headings: context & setting; why the innovation/development was introduced; what was done; evaluation of results or impact

·        For research use the following headings as appropriate: background; aims & objectives; methods; results; discussion & conclusion

·        Deadline for abstracts is Friday 14th August 2009 

Quoted references in the abstract should be listed at the end, and the Vancouver reference style should be followed.

A panel of assessors will judge submitted summaries on the following criteria:

·        Soundness of approach (whether educational innovation or research)

·        Originality of approach

·        Clarity of description of the innovation or research project

·        Accessibility, importance and relevance of content for a national/international audience

Papers describing work in progress are eligible. Authors must register for the meeting as delegates.
We look forward to receiving your abstract, together with your completed Submission Form by Friday 14th August, 2009.
Please note: amendments to abstracts cannot be made after the closing date.
