NACT UK reserve the right to increase our course fees from those previously advertised as and when this becomes necessary.

Our courses are also open to non-members (excluding CorBLIME and MorBLIME). However NACT UK Members will have priority of courses and also have a discounted fee to attend the course. If you are not a member and would like more inforamtion on a NACT UK membership please click here.

National Meetings in collaboration with other Deaneries/Colleges etc

Multi-Specialty Conference is a UK wide two-day conference, supported by AoMRC, GMC, COPMeD and COGPeD, is for Heads of Schools, Programme Directors, Directors of Medical Education, Clinical Tutors & all responsible for local postgraduate medical training. Come and influence future strategy & solve your challenges with colleagues.

Foundation Programme Events is a one-day meeting for all involved in Foundation including trainees, with the main purpose to share good practice within the faculty.  All members of the education faculty are encouraged to attend and email in abstracts from which posters will be selected.

Annual Spring Meeting is the main NACT UK meeting held in May each year. All members are encouraged to attend. There will be expert lectures on relevant topics with ample opportunity for discussion and networking. The AGM takes place at this meeting, for members to attend ONLY. There is a members Forum in the Programme where members can present some aspect of their work.

Winter Meeting (UKPGME) is a one day conference in November and open to all involved in PGME at any level with a discount for NACT UK Members. The theme this year is “the Role of Education in Improving trainee working lives”.

Finance Day is a one-day meeting will cover topics such as business plans, budgets, ROI etc.  All involved with Finance should be encouraged to attend.

SAS Development Day is a one-day meeting will consist of a mixture of lectures and group work to help the development of the SAS Tutor, including sharing of good practice.

CorBLIME is a course aimed to support new members with the required knowledge and personal leadership skills required to champion medical education within their programme/organisation. Topics include leadership styles, power & influence, PGME organisation & funding, personal tips for time, stress & conflict management, managing the education centre and staff, educational principles and theory, and quality control of training.

MorBLIME is a course that builds on the Core Leadership Skills covered in the successful CorBLIME course and is aimed at Leaders in Medical Education who have been in post for a minimum of THREE YEARS without first taking CorBLIME  (if CorBLIME has been attended you may attend MorBLIME after TWO years).  This meeting will commence with an evening workshop followed by a working dinner, and the following day will be intensive updating the fast changes in PGME.

DEMEC is bi annual 2 day conference joint with COPMeD, HEE, GMC, NACT UK, COGPED, NES and AoMRC and will be open to all those involved in Medical Education. There are discount opportunities with a 20% group booking (10 or more) through your Deanery together with an early bird rate.

All NACT UK meetings are recognised by the RCP (London) for CPD points, and receive credits from the Open University towards a Certificate in Continuing Professional Development.
