About NACT UK membership

Who can join NACT UK?

Anyone involved in generic postgraduate medical education should be encouraged to join NACT UK. Those who have an overarching responsibility for Trust Medical Education such as a Hospital Clinical Tutor or a Director of Medical Education should be a Full member. Other roles such as PRHO Tutor, Foundation Programme director, Clinical Skills Tutor should be Associate Members.

Psychiatric Clinical Tutors should also be encouraged to join. We need to work with these tutors to build Foundation Programmes.

If any of your colleagues fit this category and are not already members, please encourage them to get in touch with the NACT UK Office.

A member of the NACT UK is entitled to:

• attend meetings and training courses run by the Association
• be considered for election as a regional representative on the NACT UK Council
• receive the quarterly newsletter and other relevant information
• apply for the annual NACT UK/WYETH Travelling Fellowship to North Carolina USA
• receive an annual Directory of Postgraduate Medical Centres with gazetteer of useful addresses
